I have been sewing most of my life - learning how to do the simplest mending, to making my own clothing.  I have been quilting since 2000 when I watched Alex Anderson and decided to try a tumbling block quilt for the birth of my great niece. My love for the craft lead me to a lecture by Ricky Tims. That "Convergence" quilt with his hand dyed fabric hangs in my home today. After making numerous quilt tops and trying to do machine quilting with my domestic machine, I read an article on longarm quilting machines. This lead me to do research on them and obtain all the information about all the machines that were available at the time. I finally took the plunge to longarm machine quilting when I purchased my Gammill Classic Plus in June 2005. After joining the International Machine Quilters Association and taking classes with some of the best longarm quilters in the United States, I have learned new techniques and improved my skills with my machine. I am also a member of the Carolina Longarm Association.
